It’s not long, however, before they are ready to return again. Travelling through space and even through time, the happy band of astronauts have much to learn but coming from a world far advanced to earth, have much to teach us. Astrid, Britina, Elliot, Melki, Jip and Zip are worthy heroes as they make many new friends and outwit cruel villains on their many adventures on the planet earth. They may even just be able to help save our planet from doom and destruction.
Peter Lancaster has brought together a wonderful group of characters, each unique and memorable in their own right. His playful sense of adventure and ability to move so rapidly from one adventure to another makes this an riveting and continually exciting read. Constructing a story so rich and yet so fresh and simple, Lancaster’s masterpiece delights from start to finish.

With superb illustrations and a series of immensely entertaining adventures throughout its course, this book cannot fail to charm. An essential read for anyone with an imagination, you can be sure that this is not the last that we will see of Astrid and her colourful clan of fellow space travelers.
