EXTRACT FROM THE BOOK
"Astrid was ten years old, but on the planet Valpon nine was old enough to go on a space adventure. She had short blonde hair and blue eyes and on the spaceship always wore red clothes. Red was the color for a leader and Astrid was the Commander of the spaceship. Astrid was a very determined person, courageous and strong. She had been awarded several medals for her courage and ability. She had four companions and two robots with her on the flight.

Britina was only nine, but she was second-in-command. She had long brown hair and always wore blue clothes, because blue was the color of a second-in-command. Britina was a quiet-spoken and pleasant person. No-one disliked her. She got on well with everyone and knew that, one day, she might have the chance to be commander of the spaceship.

There were three male space travelers on board. Elliot, aged ten, was the Navigator. He had been on many journeys into space. The Navigator always dressed in green. Elliot was good at his job. He knew he did not have the intelligence of the other crew members.

Temu was the Doctor. He was eleven years old and had fourteen diplomas in medicine. He wore white clothes. The Doctor always wore white clothes. Temu was a very good doctor, but he always felt superior to other crew members, particularly Elliot. He had worked very hard to become a top medical man on Valpon and thought everyone else should know it."
